With many years of experience in the construction industry behind him, Mr. Steve Buell ventured off on his own and started Buell Constructors, Inc., specializing in building custom homes, major home remodels and various commercial projects.

When Buell Constructors, Inc. opened its doors in October of 2003, Mr. Buell was on his own. Steve Buell took care of bidding, sales generation, as well as project management. He even took on some accounting duties, including tracking expenses and income, and preparing year-end financial reports. Steve spent four years at the University of Houston in Texas, studying Industrial Management. Buell, who received his degree in August of 1995, has been putting what he learned in college to use throughout his career in construction. Mr. Steve Buell played tennis all throughout his college career.

Highlights in Steve Buell's career include a position as Project Manager at KP Meiring Construction and a two-year stint as Vice President of Skyline Commercial, Inc.

Not only does Steve Buell help people turn their homes into dream homes, he also gives back to people in the construction industry. Steve helped form a foundation to help contractor Miguel Hernandez, who is in need of a kidney transplant. Steve Buell, among others, will hold a fundraiser to help ease the medical costs for Hernandez.

Steve Buell also appreciates the arts, and believes in their importance; he is the creator of the Canyon Creek Youth Music Program, which promotes the public performances of high school and middle school students.

Started the firm with just myself and handled all aspects of sales generation, bidding and project management. Tracked all expenses and income in accounting software, handled state tax reporting and prepared year-end reports for CPA. As volume increased, staff positions were created for office management, supervision and full-time book keeper. Balanced volume of work between high-end residential and commercial work. Created the Canyon Creek Youth Music Program. This music program promotes public perfomances of middle and high school musicians in the Canyon Creek subdivision. Students who participate in the program can raise money for their own charity or apply practice and playing hours to Community Service Hours for a college transcript.

Helped to form a foundation for Miguel Hernandez, a local contractor in need of a kidney transplant. A fund raiser will be held in August 2008, with a goal of raising $20,000 to pay for the balance of his medical bills.
